Dr. Ashley Lockwood grew up in Bloomfield, Connecticut and obtained her undergraduate degree in Veterinary Technology at Quinnipiac University in 2006. She then earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine at Iowa State University in 2014. Dr. Lockwood then went on to complete a Small Animal Medicine and Surgical Rotating Internship, following by an Emergency and Critical Care Residency at Angell Animal Medical Center in Boston. Dr. Lockwood joined the Cape Cod Veterinary Specialists team in 2018 as a Criticalist and also became board certified by the American College of Veterinary Emergency & Critical Care that year. Outside of her work at the hospital, Dr. Lockwood enjoys playing soccer, horseback riding, hiking, going to music festivals, and taking part in all the fun activities the fall season in New England has to offer. She has one dog named Delilah, and two cats: Marley and Fu Manchu.
