Cape Cod Veterinary Specialists
Externships are a mutually beneficial opportunity for veterinary students to experience different veterinary practice operations by helping them gain skills in communication and case management that they will need to be successful moving forward in their careers. Students will have the chance to network and explore potential career opportunities.
Cape Cod Veterinary Specialists offers a unique one to two-week opportunity for students to gain experience in emergency and critical care, internal medicine, cardiology, anesthesiology, radiology, and/or surgery. Veterinary students will have access to our skilled veterinary team, which includes specialty diplomates, residents, interns, and experienced associates offering advanced knowledge and experience – all delivered with compassion, empathy, and a true love for the animals with which we work.
To Apply:
The applicant must be a third or fourth-year veterinary student in good academic standing at an AVMA-accredited school of veterinary medicine. Applicants should submit their resumes to recruiting@capecodvetspecialists.com.
In addition, CCVS regularly hires veterinary students to work seasonally as Doctor Assistants who work one on one with doctors to aid in medical scribing and client communication/education, while providing extraordinary care to our patients. Please see our careers tab for current opportunities.
